Dr. B.K.B. College, Puranigudam, established in 1967, is a Degree College presently offering Undergraduate and Vocational courses aligned with the curriculum of the affiliating university (Gauhati University). From the academic session 2025–26, Dr. B.K.B. College will offer a four-year Integrated B.A.-B.Ed. (Secondary) programme, subject to receiving the grant of recognition for the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) under Clause 7(13) of the NCTE Regulations, 2014. The fee structure for these programmes will be decided as per the rules and regulations of the Government of Assam and the Management Committee of the college accordingly. The fees will be periodically revised as per official guidelines to ensure affordability and accessibility for all eligible students.
